Welcome to the 6th SPPS PhD Student Conference!

It is our great pleasure to invite all PhD students within the broad research area of plant biology to participate in this unique conference, which will be held from 2nd to 5th of September 2010 in the conference center on the lovely island of Hanasaari in Espoo, Finland. The SPPS PhD Student Conference offers PhD students an opportunity to present their work and to interact with leadings scientists and other students in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

This conference is a great opportunity for PhD students in plant science to meet and to form future collaborations. Besides getting the opportunity to present and discuss your own work, a number of international top speakers will be presenting new achievements and methods in plant science.

The Hanasaari Congress Centre is located on a scenic archipelago headland in southern Finland.

Please note: The 5th EPSO Conference is also taking place in Finland (August 29th to September 1st). SPPS student members will receive a 50€ discount on the registration price!
